The movie might have well had Bond look straight into the camera and say "America sucks, mmmkay? Because we Brits clearly are better than they are even though we helped them do the exact same thing. QoS was one of the worst Bond films ever made (though not the most boring -Thunderball & You Only Live Twice get that title).I'd have to say that besides the crappy storyline, the worst thing about this Bond film was the Bond girl. I mean, what is suddenly so popular about overly tanned, grimey women? Seriously, she sucked! I much prefered Strawberry Fields!One point for you people who don't understand the point about the water. This actually happened where an American Corporation legally "owned" all the water supplies in Bolvia (I think, it might have been Ecuador), and charged SO much for it that the people could not even afford city tap water. (And by the way -you can't live without water. You CAN live without oil.) Eventually the people rose up and after months of violence, with the US backing the dictatorian Regime, they finally overthrew the goverment & kicked the US moneymen outta there! The point of this was very symbolic in QoS -but the movie still sucked! This was classic.
