Did anyone else find the silliest thing about The Da Vinci Code (either book or movie or both, whatever it was) to be that Sophie's favorite piece of art as a child was supposedly Vitruvian Man? The whole plot hinged on this fact, it's how she knew the clues were meant for her.Yes, every little girl is just nuts for a highly accurate ancient drawing of a nude man spread-eagled and glowering. That's why Lisa Frank is planning a line of monochromatic sepia folders and notebooks that will be entitled Naked Leering Strangers. It could be argued that this is supposed to be only one little girl who was just nuts for Vitruvian Man, but you'd seriously be hard-pressed to find a little girl anywhere who didn't find it creepy as maggoty shit. A woman who loved it so much in CHILDHOOD she'd recognize a representation of it as specifically meant for her? No. Just no, Dan Brown.

Doesn't have a lot to do with this script (which was hilarious), but as long as we're on the subject of what made The Da Vinci Code preposterous, I've got to get this off my chest. No, I’ve learned that the story in the book actually sucks a lot more than I originally thought."
That was the shiz!!I don't believe Jesus had a kid, but I have no problems believeing he had sex (even possibly with Mary Magdeline). I mean, he WAS human after all.

"TOM HANKS<br

They're still on the hook for proving the bones belonged to Mary Magdelene, which they could never do. If they were somehow able to do that then they'd still be on the hook to prove that she was the descendant of Mary and Jesus, not Mary and someone else; which again, they could never do.So basically the whole movie is about a long search for something that will prove absolutely nothing.

Probably been said, but there were a few points I never got:

So if they did find Mary Magdelene's bones the best they could do is prove that the bones they found were the bones of one of Audrey Tautou's ancestors via testing the DNA. Upon reading Da Vinci Code, I found myself continually thinking, "Wait a minute...this is the same basic story arc, just with different names and places...?"
Then I tried reading Deception Point.Dan Brown is a mad-lib fiend, apparently.Any chance there's going to be an A&D abridged script? I dunno, Rod's got a lot on his plate already. Not pushing for it.

I read Angels and Demons first, and liked it.<br

Because Jesus had sex in one book...well, he mentioned he had sex. And goodness knows, their's a prequel (sequel? eh). I do love there was no sex in this movie. Because they could have been going at it in front of Eifle tower like most Parisains do.

That’s what has Christians foaming at the mouth?

IAN MCKELLEN

Yeah.

AUDREY TAUTOU

(pause)

Seriously, are they fucking retarded?

Seriously, people should be foaming at the mouth at some of Anne Rice's books if they worry about blasphemy. He was creative enough to make them each so unique I actually told my mum the plot and the clever "twist" of the last without having read it.The film was over the top. Quick, I need to find a library.Seriously it wasn't action and it wasn't anything else.

If you thought the book was awful try reading the other 3 he wrote.
