While he is very talented, the talent that makes these scripts great will not translate into an original screenplay. A screenplay that sarcatically mocks itself won`t make for a good movie. The best we could hope for is that he would write a humorous abridged script to the actual movie he made.Just let the man do what he does, and enjoy it.
