A Note About Comments
So the new version of the site has been live for a few weeks now, the the reception seems pretty positive. The main feedback I’ve gotten is this:
- More updates are good even if they aren’t scripts, but they should be.
- People actually care about the non-script content from before (like the Message from Maltin, etc)
- The Archives page sucks now (I agree, but fixing it is kind of a nightmare. I’m working on it.)
- Most of the new design is okay, but some parts suck ass.
The biggest new change is that people can now leave comments, as many of you have noticed. Comments go through a moderation system - I have to approve them before they become available. However, if you use the same e-mail address whenever you leave a comment, it will auto-approve any comments you make after I’ve approved one.
Some people have mentioned not wanting to discuss the movies being abridged too much in the comments. I encourage you to discuss and argue about the movies in the comments. Comments are for anything relevant. Point out flaws in the movie I didn’t discuss. Defend the movie if you wish. Leave a comment to tell me what an asshole I am. Anything related is a perfect comment. If the Casino Royale comment space turns into a flamewar about the movie, awesome.

And you are AWESOME for saying so.
July 9th, 2007 at 9:39 pmWorst script ever. No focus, not much humor, nothing. I don’t even remember this movie, was it straight to video?
2/5 stars.
July 12th, 2007 at 9:08 amGood announcement. Where the hell are the scripts for The World is Not Enough and Rushmore?
July 13th, 2007 at 1:36 am/\ Forget about The World is Not Enough and Rushmore.
Sitting through two and a half hours of Michael Bay’s Transformers without an abridged script to come home to may in fact be the thing in life that pains me the most.
